Excellent bit of gear, but getting spare parts eg. Nitrogen shocks…. Is very difficult!!!

My name is Bob L. I am 65 years old, married and father of five. I currently live in Northern
California. I have been in law enforcement for nearly 30 years. I have been an avid weightlifter
for 40 years. Keeping physically fit has been a major part of my life, mainly because of the type
of work that I am in. As much as I love weight training, the stress that it puts on the joints over
the years has finally taken its toll. Just by accident, I discovered the Bio Force home gym but
unfortunately, sales had stopped in the United States. I began corresponding with Stefan from Bio
Force, who kept me up to date on when the Bio Force would again be available in the US. As
soon as it was available I ordered the Bio Force Extreme. I have had it for about 8 months now
and absolutely love it. The machine has a relatively small working footprint and fits in a corner of
my bedroom. The quality of the machine is excellent. It is almost silent when using and nearly
every move that can be done in a commercial gym can be duplicated on the Bio Force. Adjusting
the resistance could not be any easier. Even a child can adjust the resistance, or in my case, even
my wife (which is to say a lot). The feel of the resistance is very much like free weight. If you
closed your eyes while lifting, after the first couple of reps you could forget that you aren’t
actually lifting weight. The claimed resistance is 250 lbs., however, the resistance actually feels
heavier and I cannot lift as much stated weight on the Bio Force as I can with free weight. The
moves are definitely easier on the joints and since lifting on the Bio Force I haven’t had to have a
single cortisone injection. So, do I prefer the Bio Force over free weight? Even though I have
access to a full gym at my work, I have not touched a piece of free weight since getting my Bio
Force and I have not lost any noticeable muscle mass, so yes I prefer the Bio Force over traditional
weights and machines. Also, over the years I have had other home gyms and none, including
Bowflex, matches the versatility of the Bio Force. I might add that even though some might think
the Bio Force resembles a Bowflex, the Bowflex is not even in the same league as the Bio
Force. I honestly believe that the majority of lifters would be more than satisfied with the Bio

I love this machine. It came in two boxes, one 100 lbs the other 95 lbs. It was easy to assemble and easy to push on its whells around once done. The resisgtance feels like a real weight stack. I had a bowflex before which was good, but this is better. the bowflex rods are flimsy and not true to label weight. The bioforce is underclocked, the weight feels heavier than labled. Smooth resistance, natural feel. only issue I have is that some pullyes feel like they are dry rubbing. to fix that issue i got wd40 water resistant silicone lubricant and spray the pulleys and cables; issue went away. Great product that I recommend.
